Marr Bond21 November 1832George Edwards and bondsman William Riddle filed a marriage bond on 21 November 1832 in Macon County, North Carolina. Excerpt from marriage bond transcribed by Wanda Hunter Day: "The condition of the above obligation is such the [sic] whereas the above bounded George Edwards that the day of the date hereof applied for [illegible, 1 word] and obtained a license to intermarry with Marget [sic] Allen daughter of Adniram [sic] Allen."2

Death*after 1 June 1900 Conclusion by Wanda Hunter Day: Margaret Allen died after 01 Jun 1900,* the official enumeration date for the 1900 census. She was enumerated in the 1900 census as Pegga Edwards in the household of son-in-law Andrew Peters. I have found no additional records for Margaret Allen after this census.3,6 [*Although the census taker recorded the household on 30 Jun 1900, official instructions were to enumerate the household as it existed on 01 Jun 1900.]
